ARN is a Multidisciplinary Design Company.

We're designers. We're makers. We're collaborators.

With our roots in product and furniture design and our formative years working in events we've brought together a broad range of experience and skills into one company.

From a humble laptop stand to a 30x30m wine bar compound , from a simple timber bar to an all singing all dancing mobile coffee trolley, we love it all.

Well considered design, form & function and sympathetic material use, this is where we're at.

Jeremy Arndell BA(Hons) ,PGDip

Director and Founder

I've always been making things. As a boy I designed and built my own timber tree house and built various extensions on it over a few years.

I graduated with a degree in Design Management (Product Design) and obtained a Post Grad Diploma in Multi Media Design.

After a few years working in music venue management and then festival Production management, I then got into house renovation for a few years. This re-ignited my love of woodwork and I'd soon found a workshop and started using my events contacts to get contracts making stuff for events and festivals.

Since then ARN has grown, I've found some great team mates to work with and clients to make stuff for.

Ross Kelly

CNC DEsigner & Maker

Ross graduated in 2017 from De Montfort University after receiving a first class,
alongside multiple design awards. During this time he gained lots of experience in
cad and design for manufacture, which was put to good use while on his placement
year working for a renowned bespoke joinery company.

Ross was welcomed to the creative team at ARN in 2022, where he designs, makes
and operates our in house cnc machine and laser cutter. Since being at ARN Ross
has had the pleasure of working with household named brands, local businesses
and independent people, turning their ideas into a reality.

Ross has led on some very fun and interesting projects. He was asked to design and
manufacture a large 3d gantry sign on behalf of the F1 and most recently finished off
a small batch run of speakers, flight cases and a DJ console table for a client out in
japan.

Melanie Davis

Workshop Assistant

Mel is a Welder & Fabricator by trade and lives on a working farm. She has an engineering background, working with precision engineering companies, then later created a small fabrication business from home.

She joined our team in early 2022 to have a part time job along side her work and says this is the perfect company to work with.

Mel enjoys her role here at ARN and says " Being an assistant here is great, I get to do a huge variety of things which makes work life interesting. No project is the same, its fun learning different methods of woodwork, finishing and learning the different processes of how things are made. I have always been obsessed with making things with metal, but since working at ARN i have found woodwork just as enjoyable."

My most favorite project I have worked on has to be the Redefine Meat Bar. It was a big build that included my metalwork and woodwork skills which to have an opportunity to use both on the same project is great!
